We have Extended Day for children needing care before and/or after workshops and camps. Campers have activities indoors in air-conditioned buildings and outdoors. It is run by adult leaders with college/high school assistants (1-6 ratio). There are planned activities organized daily. The fee for extended day is a separate charge. You may add Extended Day at any time with at least ONE WEEK NOTICE. Please note that there will be a $5 late fee assessed for EVERY 5 MINUTES beyond the registered Extended Day period. Extended afternoon (5:30pm pickup): $50 per week
AM and PM Extended (8am drop off
and 5:30pm pickup): $65 per weekTax ID Number:
Our tax ID number is 56-0812560.
Late Registration/Wait List:
We keep a wait list to fill cancellations. Enrollments are accepted up to the first day of each session. If a class is full, we will put your child's name on a wait list or you can choose an alternate class. In the event an opening occurs and your child is next on the list, we will contact you to see if you are still interested in the space. If you only want to be put on a wait list, send in a registration without a check or with a check (we will hold it until you get in the class). We will call you as soon as there is an opening to see if you are still interested. We know that plans change for families -- if you are interested in a particular workshop, there is a very good chance that there may be an opening. We place campers on wait lists, recording the date and time for each request. Our goal is to have happy campers ... we will work hard to keep you informed of changes. Remember that, as families' planschange, so does our website so check back with us. We will keep our website up to date on openings. Refund Policy/Change Fees:
If a program is filled or cannot be offered, CFS refunds ALL payments. If YOU decide to cancel, we issue refunds (minus $30.00 fee per camp) until May 1, 2008. Please understand that we have contracts with our summer staff.
AFTER MAY 1, refunds are possible only if we fill your child's place (99% refill record). However, at that time there is a $50.00 cancellation fee deducted for each camp cancellation. Cancellations must be in writing by email, fax, or letter. No phone calls, please.
Changes made to an enrollment will be made if space still available. There is a $3 administrative change fee. Changes may involve switching weeks or switching workshops. Any changes made during a session will incur a $10 fee.Late Pick-up Fees:
If you are late picking up your child after a workshop (and not enrolled in Extended Day), your child will be taken to the Extended Day site and signed in. You will be charged $10 per hour. Transportation:
Transportation is on minibuses with seat belts (seats 14).
Lunch & Snacks:
All campers should bring their own lunch (including drinks), a snack and a waterbottle. We do offer a camp store that is open for drinks, treats and snacks. We are aware of sugar content concerns and will make heroic efforts to provide sugarless or reduced sugar snacks and treats. The snack bar is open at 10:30am for morning snacks. At that time, we do not sell sodas with caffeine nor do we sell candy. At lunch time, campers can get snacks such as Cup of Soup, chips, sodas and small item candies. We make effort to revise our menu...serching for the elusive low-cost, nutrituious, low-calorie, tasty, appetizing snacks that appeal to our campers. Swimming:
We will swim at Camp New Hope this year which is about 15 minutes from our campus in minibuses with seat belts for all (seats 14). Kidspace is the only camps that go swimming, twice a week. FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions):
