If you enjoy interacting with younger children and would like to work in a
summer camp setting, we have a program for you!
The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program requires a TWO-WEEK commitment.
We work with you as you learn to lead groups of children and follow directions
from your mentor teacher.
Each week you are assigned to a different workshop, matching your interests and
skills when possible, with the younger groups ages 4-6 or 6-8. In some
circumstances, we may place you with older groups. See what we're offering at

We check in with you throughout the day to make sure you're on the right track
and listen to your input. At the end of the session, you receive a certificate of
training to bring to your future employers as well as an assessment from your
mentor teacher.
** Spaces are limited. Interested students should send a letter of
interest along with a brief resume listing your experience to the CFS
Summer Programs office. Attach this to your registration forms with
fee. The cost of this program is $65 per week.
Note to parents: Please send your registration forms and payment to the Summer
Program office. We will confirm your camper's position as a CIT after we receive
the resume and letter of interest and contact your camper. |
